The International Edvard Grieg Competition 2010 - the 14th Edvard Grieg memorial competition for composers - is a tribute to the Norwegian violinist Ole Bull, who was a legendary performer, composer and a great mentor for Edvard Grieg in his career.
The Grieg Society in Oslo invites composers to write a piece for unaccompanied violin. Total playing time: 5-8 minutes.
